Through the storm, through the rain, through the hurt, stand through the pain, hold on, be strong, God will step in and it won't be long.
Donnie Mc Clurkin is a multi-talented personality who has given his contribution in the field of singing and politics also.
Come 1989, the South Carolina gospel musician was hired as an associate minister at Marvin Winans’ Perfecting Church in Detroit, Michigan where he served as an assistant for more than a decade.
His respite from the vicissitudes of life was however interrupted in 1991 when he began having a sharp pain and swelling followed by internal bleeding which was later diagnosed to be leukaemia. Matt Crouch, the host of the show, announced that Donnie was getting married, no one had to think far on who the bride would be as Nicole C.
Growing into his teens, he formed a musical group called Mc Clurkin Singers and after some time, he put together another one called the New York Restoration Choir with which he began recording in 1975.
These were all in devotion to his new found love in Jesus Christ and ultimately, in furtherance of his career as a gospel musician.
Check out the audio below to hear what Donnie has to say about the alleged romance.
The musician has a biological son named Mathew Mcclurkin (born in the year 2000) who he had with Kim, he is also father to a girl named Michelle who he adopted when she was 9 years old, just the following year after his son was born. It was his uncle who at the time he described as a “broken man” robbed him of his sexual innocence.Tell me what do you do when you've done all you can and it seems like you can't make it through?Well, you just stand, stand, stand, don't you dare give up.She threw more light on the topical issue in a video interview she had with Premier Gospel stating that they were headed towards that (marriage) but protocols had to be followed and they still had to talk about a lot of things. This, therefore, means that Donnie Mcclurkin is not married to Nicole C.
His tragedy continued and again he was sexually abused now by his uncle’s son.
